October is a beautiful month in the city of eternal spring. The trade winds change and the sky clears, the cold weather disappears, and we see blue skies and bright sunshine, less intense than the summer sun but still enough to maintain the average temperature of between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius, with peaks of 30 degrees Celsius during the day and no drop below 17-19 degrees Celsius at night. An ideal climate for swimming on the beach during the day but also for sleeping with a blanket. Lately, a more recent phenomenon, it rains for a while on many mornings. It’s as if the climate of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is becoming more tropical.
I particularly love that rain; it cleanses the air of the dust left over from the calm and leaves beautiful mornings with the scent of wet earth.
It’s also a month, October, when clients start returning to our coworking space in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and it’s slowly filling up again.
Or so we hope.
Thanks to those who have been, to those who are, and to those who will be.
Always by the beach
