Donkey belly is a term used to describe a phenomenon characteristic of the northern Canary Islands, consisting of an accumulation of low-altitude clouds that acts as a sun screen.

Many people think in Canary island , is always sunny, but specially from June to September in the islands with high mountains we have this meteorologic phenomenon, so in La palma, Tenerife and Gran Canaria during the summer the south is sunny and the north is cloudy but the temperature is fabulous to do sport, for sleeping and also for working. this is the reason that the medium temperature in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (where is the location of Soppa) is 22 to 26 degrees the all year.

Enjoy our Donkey belly and sleep well and work well enjoying the summer in other way.
